Setting Features on Tour Chain Platform
Tour Chain platform allows administrators to easily create and manage user accounts with assigned roles
USER: Users are assigned distinct roles upon creation, granting them access to specific platform areas and actions. Each user can log in securely with a password, but only on one device at a time.
USER ROLES:
Product: The Product feature enables the creation and management of Option, Service, and Supplier data within the system. Users with the Product role can further design and develop Options, Modules (Day Programs), and Packages (Multi-day Programs).
Reservation: Reservation specialists (Sales, Tour Designers, Tour Consultants) craft personalized itineraries based on client requests. The Reservation role empowers these specialists to design unique travel programs utilizing the services, modules, and packages created by the Product team.
Operation:Operation roles enable the assignment of suppliers and the initiation of payment requests to accounting. This assignment encompasses securing suppliers for guides, vehicles, restaurants, entrance fees, and other essential services. Operators can not only make reservations with these suppliers to confirm services but also create and share detailed guide itineraries via email and links.
Account: Users with the Accounting role oversee and manage both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). They track all payments based on due dates to ensure timely processing and maintain accurate financial records.
Leader: A Manager role can be assigned within the Product, Reservation, and Operation teams to provide oversight and review capabilities for users' work within their respective departments. This role grants access to relevant data and tools, enabling managers to monitor progress, assess quality, and ensure adherence to standards.
Geo Path: The geographic location system is structured into four levels:
Country: The highest level, representing nations.
Province: The second level, representing regional divisions within countries.
City: The third level, representing urban centers within provinces.
Area: The most specific level, representing neighborhoods or districts within cities.
All options, services (hotels, day programs, packages), and suppliers are categorized within this location hierarchy. This structure enhances navigation within Online Tariff and Search functionalities throughout the system.
All messages that you send through Mandrill use your sending domain's DKIM records and DMARC policy for authentication.
DKIM
DKIM is a DNS-based email authentication mechanism that helps Mandrill more effectively send mail on your behalf by allowing receivers to verify that we have permission to send your email.
To Enable DKIM:
Create two CNAME records: one with the name
mte1._domainkey.yourdomain.com * with the value dkim1.mandrillapp.com, and another with the name mte2._domainkey.yourdomain.com* and the value dkim2.mandrillapp.com
DMARC
A DMARC policy is an authentication protocol that can be added to your domain to help protect against fraud and increase deliverability. Beginning in 2024, Mandrill requires a minimum DMARC policy of "v=DMARC1; p=none" to be added to any sending domain. Read more about additional configurations available at dmarc.org.
To Enable DMARC:
Create and save a TXT record in your DNS with a host of _dmarc.yourdomain.com* and a value of v=DMARC1; p=none
